CELINA, OH / ACCESSWIRE / October 28, 2015 / Celina Tent Inc., world leading manufacturer of tents, tarpaulin, and agricultural curtains, has completed its latest expansion. It is estimated that an additional 5 to 12 jobs will be added at the Celina, Ohio manufacturing facility as a result. This $2.1 million dollar expansion was financed through the Mercer County Ohio Economic Development Loan Fund and the Small Business Administration.
Expansion Update
Celina is proud to unveil the newest addition to our manufacturing facility – an additional 27,500 square feet of manufacturing space connected to our current operating floor. This new addition supplements our current 62,000 square foot factory floor, adding trucking bays and much-needed room for supplemental machines and product lines.
With our ever-increasing sales lines venturing into returnable packaging and agricultural zones, along with the perpetual improvement and development of our party tents and military/humanitarian shelters, the need for expanded and dedicated areas became paramount. As the addition is finished and tools and work load moved from cramped spaces to new, we will continue to tinker with our processes and products to help maintain the highest standards of excellence.
2015 Expansion
It’s official. We are beginning construction on a $2.1 million expansion of our manufacturing facilities.
The new addition will be approximately 100’ x 275’ and will connect to our existing building with 2 smaller tunnels. This new building will help to support all of our exciting new ventures and our ever-increasing sales.
